a new discover for me

today

i had my hair cut

in a hairdressing salon.

i chatted to the washer in English

while she was washing my hair.

i asked her if she was from the Philippines

and her answer was Nepal.

(it's different from the last time that i chatted to

the kid in a clinic,who was from Pakistan.)

speaking of her, she is friendly and she asked

what my hobbies were and her was swimming.

she told me her education was post-secondary .

i asked her how she spoke"i love u" in Nepalese

and she spoke and wrote it to me.

i tried to speak ,it was tough enough but fun.

also, Nepalese words are beautiful.(even though i couldn't recognise them!)

whlie talking religion,

she told me that the Buddha was born in Nepal not India.

i was shocked. she explained the book was wrong.

(cos i told her i knew the Buddha

was born in India from a book)

that is the new discover for me.

it is interesting to chat to foreigner!

this can also exchange culture.
